The Emelisse Hotel is located above Eblissi Bay and is just a 15 minute walk from the famously picturesque port and village of Fiskardo. Kefalonia is the largest island in Greece’s Ionian Sea. It has a profusion of natural beauty and splendour. Numerous beautiful beaches dotting the coastline contrast the soaring forested mountains. Kefalonia's Myrtos Beach just north of the capital, Argostoli, is often described as one of the most breathtaking in the world. Steep cliffs offer breathtaking views over hundreds of secluded white caves. The extensive vineyards produce some of the best wines in Greece.

Our hotel is in one of the most famous villages on the island, the picturesque Fiskardo. This delightful village, with traditional Venetian architecture, restored old houses, yacht marina and seaside taverns, captures the unique charm and character of the island. The harbor has a bustling waterfront with shops, bars and clubs.

The extensive vineyards produce such superior quality wines deservedly earning ‘Robola’ the accolade of being among the best Greek wines. Many holidaymakers will identify with Kefalonia as the location for John Madden's film "Captain Corelli's Mandolin".
